Materials 

• Cotton 5mm (soft cord cotton) about 70g- 2 colours 
• Hook Size:3mm 
• 2 x Metallic rings for handle.
• 2 x beads pearls
• Size Bag::19 x 15 cm Strap length: 120cm

 

Bottom

Chain 29 then 5 rounds of single crochet. From the 6th round work  BLO (back of the loop)  in cycle, 2xDC , ch 2,2x Dc in the same stitch, skip 3 ch insert hook the the 4th ch..  At each side of the rectangle (the 5 single crochet rds) has  one group of (2 x Dc,ch 2,2 x Dc) Rd 7 work 2 x DC ,ch 2, 2 x Dc, in each loop.Total 12 rounds.See graphic below.

How to change the colour

From where is left after finish the round with slip stitch,keep the grey colour stitch on the hook,grab the second colour through the first loop,then pull  the red colour through the grey colour with slip stitch,after chain 2 with the red colour and continue the pattern.Do not cut the grey yarn for as is need it for the next round.

If you like you can make the bag in one colour,its easier for beginner.

For the shoulder strap i used romanian cord stitch and is easy to find tutorials in youtube.I made the strap adjustable by crocheting 120 cm long.I rounded one end of strap twice and tight over the base strap and pull from underneath the end then i sew carefully the 2 circles whiteout to catch the length of strap.If you want non -adjustable strap then 100 cm is enough.The string is about 90 cm single crochet and is pulled through gaps nearly at the top of the bag
